REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS
The City of Surrey (the “City”) invites contractors to provide a quotation on the form attached as Schedule C (the “Quotation”) for the supply of the goods (if any) and services described in Schedule A (the “Work”).
DESCRIPTION OF SCOPE OF WORK
The Work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all superintendence, overhead, labour, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, fuel, transportation and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of Unwin Outdoor Pool Remediation located at 13313 68 Ave, Surrey, British Columbia (the “Place of Work”) in strict accordance with the Specifications and accompanying Drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract.
The general components of the Work include:
• Removal and replacement of pool deck concrete and added curb
• Disposal of removed concrete.
• Replacement of pool deck drain bodies.
• Excavation of ground material beneath the concrete to expose for plumbing repair.
• Repair or replacement of any leaking pool supply lines using like-for-like materials.
• Backfill the excavated area with materials specified in the City of Surrey’s geotechnical report.
INFORMATION MEETING
An information meeting will be hosted by the City Representative to discuss the City’s requirements under this RFQ. At the time of issuance of this RFQ a meeting has been scheduled as follows:

ADDENDA
If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca and the City website at www.surrey.ca (collectively, the “Websites”), and upon posting, any addenda will form a part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the Websites for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
