Plumbing Permits & Fees
Access applications, forms and fees from the City of Surrey Plumbing Division.
A plumbing permit is required under the Surrey Plumbing Bylaw. To apply and pay for certain plumbing permits online, request to register by email at plumbinginfo@surrey.ca and use the online application system.

Fees
Changes to the transfer of a plumbing permit process
Issued plumbing permits are owned by the registered trade qualified plumbing contractor.
To transfer a permit to a new plumbing contractor please complete the following:
- Transfer of Plumbing Contractor Authorization Acceptance Form
 - Include Applicable Plumbing Permit Application Forms as required
 - Staff will review, process and notify new contractor of further requirements
 - Once approved – permit will be issued to new contractor
