Free Youth Workshop: Indigenous Medicine Pouch

Join us Saturday, May 3 from 3:00-4:00pm or 5:00-6:00pm and learn how to make a traditional medicine pouch. This workshop will be taught by Elder Germaine Langan of Cree First Nation.
Youth Art Jam
Be part of the arts scene in your neighbourhood! This free after-school program invites youth in grades 8-12 to explore their creativity. You’ll get to create the art you want to make. Join us and help shape what we work on!

All sessions take place from 3:00-5:00pm.
Participants will also work together to plan Community Art Jam, a community-wide celebration of youth arts on Tuesday, September 23.
Your Art Here exhibition
Add to the Your Art Here exhibition – just bring your artwork to one of the Youth Art Jams listed above and staff will hang it on our gallery wall! Artwork must be appropriate for all ages and cultures.
Community Art Jam
Join the Community Art Jam! This all-ages event will be planned and put on by youth and will include a variety of arts offerings, from music and drama performances to art competitions and activities. Bring the whole family from 3-6pm on Tuesday, May 6.
