Run a workshop

Use the studio or open-air pavilion for your next public workshop. Beyond the space and being compensated for your time and expertise, we will take care of registration and promotion on our website, social media, e-newsletters and sometimes the City of Surrey Recreation Guide.

We are honoured to have hosted workshops led by Semiahmoo First Nation artist Joan Williams, Kwantlen author Joseph Dandurand, archaeologist Don Welsh, Quw'utsun artist Charlene Johnny, Katzie First Nation healer Deanna Miller, artist James Groening and Métis artist Sheila Lowe.

Host an event

An open and welcoming space, Totest Aleng is an inspiring place to gather. In 2024, Kwantlen artist Natache Gabriel held Matriarchs in the Park, featuring Kwantlen Matriarchs, Hazel Gludo, Carla Carr and Fern Gabriel. Other events have included an Indigenous Christmas Market and a Family Day Métis dot art event.

If you would rather join an existing event, Totest Aleng also annually co-hosts Spring Fest and Harvest Fair in partnership with Historic Stewart Farm.

Share your knowledge

Do you have Indigenous teaching or knowledge you want to share? At Totest Aleng there have been a variety of knowledge sharing programs, including a Crescent Beach petroglyph talk with Semiahmoo archaeologist Don Welsh, an author talk with world renowned Kwantlen author Joseph Dandurand and medicinal plant walks with Deanna Miller šxʷne:m.
